Jammu: Due to Corona, many work in the country has been thwarted. Meanwhile, all the religious places of the state including Maa Vaishno Devi temple will open on 16th August. For this, SOP has been issued by the government. Everyday 6 thousand devotees will go on Vaishno Devi Yatra. Of these, only 500 passengers coming from outside the state will be approved.

Registration will be done online so that there will not be any rush on the counter. Special guidelines have been issued for the journey of Maa Vaishno Devi. The CEO of the Shrine Board and the District Deputy Commissioner will give permission for the travel. According to the SOP, it will be approved to send 5000 devotees daily by September 30, 2020, to Vaishno Devi. All devotees coming from outside the state will have to submit a negative COVID antigen test report as per protocol.

Travel will be allowed only if the report comes negative. Similarly, there will be a rapid screening of passengers coming from the Red Zone. Rapid antigen test facilities will be made available at many places on the route. To control the coronavirus, frontline staff and other service holders will also undergo antigen testing. The toilet, Snan-Ghat, guest house, chopper, cable car have also been asked to ensure sanitation and cleanliness. With this, keeping in mind the corona, it will be mandatory to follow all the guidelines, and it is important to keep your own safety.
