New Delhi: As you all know, pollution has increased a lot in Delhi, the capital of the country. The state government has become strict about pollution. In such a situation, anti-cracker campaign will start from November 3 in view of Diwali in Delhi, so that the increasing pollution can be brought under control. Delhi's Environment Minister Gopal Rai talked about this on Wednesday. He said in the conversation that, in view of the Diwali festival, the Delhi government will start an anti-cracker campaign on November 3. Not only this, Environment Minister Rai asked the people not to fire crackers considering the seriousness of the situation in view of the covid-19 pandemic. He said- 'Don't fire crackers'.

However, the minister had earlier invited opposition MLAs and MPs to join the campaign. He recently said that, according to the Supreme Court's order in 2018, only 'green' firecrackers can be made, sold and used on this Diwali. The smoke emanating from firecrackers and stubble pollutes the air of Delhi every year.

Apart from this, he also said, "The government is going to start an anti-cracker campaign from 3 November. Keeping this in view, Delhi Pollution Control Committee and 11 Special Squad of City Police will inspect firecracker manufacturing units to ensure that no old stock is left. I appeal to the people of Delhi to start a 'no crackers' campaign. They should not burn firecrackers considering the severity of the situation in view of the covid-19 pandemic. ''
