The smartphone manufactuerer Oppo launched Oppo A5s in India. The smartphone  is touted to be the first smartphone with MediaTek Helio P35 chipset and a long last battery. The Oppo A5s will go on sale online via Amazon, Flipkart, Snapdeal, Tata Cliq, Paytm Mall and offline via retail stores.

Talking about the key specifications of the smartphone, the biggest highlight of the phone includes a 6.2-inch LCD waterdrop display, a rear fingerprint scanner, 4230 mAh battery, dual rear camera module, and an 8-megapixel selfie shooter. It comes with a 6.2-inch LCD waterdrop screen with an aspect ratio of 19:9 and resolution of 1520 x 720 pixels. The phone weighs 170 grams and measures 155.9 x 75.4 x 8.2 mm. Under the hood, there is octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 processor powered by MG PowerVR GE8320 GPU and paired with  2GB RAM + 32GB and 4GB RAM + 64GB storage options. 

Talking about camers, there is a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 13-megapixel sensor and a 2-megapixel sensor. On the front, there is an 8-megapixel selfie shooter with F2.0 aperture. The camera also comes with multi-frame anti-shake technology that ensures stability while shooting a video. Other features include 4G LTE support, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, GLONASS, NFC, Galileo, and USB-OTG support.

As fat as price is concerned, Oppo A5s price has been set at Rs. 9,990 for the base 2GB RAM + 32GB storage option. It will arrive in black and red colour variants and go on sale starting from April 20, 2019. Meanwhile, the higher 4GB RAM + 64GB storage model will be available from next month in green and gold colours.
