New Delhi:- The Oppo A78 4G was launched in Indonesia as the latest device in the company's A-series smartphone series. His new 4G smartphone features some notable changes compared to his Oppo A78 5G, his 5G smartphone currently available for purchase in India.

The new Oppo A78 4G runs on the Snapdragon 680 SoC. The display has a punch hole for a selfie camera, and the phone has dual 50MP rear cameras. The Oppo A78 4G is available in 8GB RAM and 256GB storage configurations, with the option to "expand" the RAM up to 16GB using unused onboard storage. It has a 5,000mAh battery that supports 67W SuperVOOC fast charging.

The Oppo A78 4G is priced at IDR 35,99,000 (around Rs 20,000) for a single version with 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. It is currently listed on Oppo's Indonesian online store in Black Mist and Sea Green (translated from Indonesian) color options.

When ordering the Oppo A78 4G, the customer will receive his Oppo Enco Buds 2 earphones in the company's white hue for free. The global launch and pricing details of his new Oppo A78 4G are yet to be announced. 

Mind you, the 5G version of the Oppo A78 launched in India in January at a price of Rs 18,999.

Dual SIM (Nano) Oppo A78 4G runs on ColorOS 13.1 based on Android 13 and features 6.43-inch Full HD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of up to 90 Hz and touch sampling rate of up to 180 I'm here. Hz. The display features Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, a pixel density of 409 ppi, a peak brightness of 430 nits, and a screen-to-body ratio of 90.8 percent. It features a Snapdragon 680 SoC paired with an Adreno 610 GPU and 8GB RAM.

As already mentioned, the available RAM can be virtually expanded with unused memory up to 16 GB. In terms of optics, the Oppo A78 4G is equipped with a dual rear camera assembly consisting of a 50-megapixel primary camera with f/1.8 aperture and a 2-megapixel sensor with f/2.4 aperture. Selfies and video calls are managed by an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. This handset offers 256 GB of storage capacity. 

Connectivity options for Oppo A78 4G include WiFi, Bluetooth 5.3, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port. Onboard sensors include accelerometers, geomagnetic sensors, gravity sensors, gyroscopes, in-display optical sensors, and proximity sensors. It has a fingerprint sensor for authentication and also supports a face recognition function.

Similar to the Oppo A78 5G, the company equips the Oppo A78 4G with a 5,000 mAh battery unit. The battery supports 67W SuperVOOC charging. Also, the Oppo Reno 8 measures 73.23 x 161 x 7.99 mm and weighs 180 grams.
