New Delhi: Election strategist Prashant Kishore (Pk) has again hit out at the Congress party. He said opposition is possible in India even without the Congress. Pk has instructed the Congress that if the party is to be saved, a leader from outside the Gandhi family will have to elect a president democratically. He also took a dig at Rahul Gandhi saying that with a tweet and candle march, you cannot defeat the BJP.
In an interview, Prashant Kishore also presented his blueprint to take on the BJP for the opposition in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. He attacked the Congress saying it is possible to form an anti-BJP front without the oldest party in the country. Pk said the Congress has not won any Lok Sabha elections alone since 1984. In the last ten years, the Congress has won 90 per cent of the elections. The Congress leadership should take responsibility for this defeat. Prashant Kishor said that I had almost joined Congress.
He praised PM Modi and said that PM listens to everyone. That is their strength. They know what people want after all. Prashant Kishore also said that for the next few decades, the country's politics will revolve around the BJP. Earlier, he was in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections for the BJP and nitish kumar, rahul gandhi, akhilesh yadav, m.k. Stalin has also chalked out election strategy for Jagan Mohan Reddy, Arvind Kejriwal and Captain Amarinder Singh.
