Bangalore: The opposition meeting concluded on Tuesday with reports indicating that all 26 parties have reached a decision to collectively contest against the BJP-led NDA under the banner of the "Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (India)".

According to Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, the alliance comprising the 26 opposition parties will now be known as the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (India). Kharge emphasized that the conflict lies between India and the NDA, pitting Narendra Modi against the idea of India and their ideology. He stated, "No one in history has been able to challenge the essence of India."

As the leaders elaborated on the deliberations, it was revealed that a pact has been signed among the parties regarding seat sharing and the establishment of state-wise committees.

Sources indicate that the discussion revolved around the politics of hatred, highlighting the failures of the Central government and raising voices against Prime Minister Narendra Modi's administration.

Kharge took to Twitter and expressed his satisfaction, saying, "I am delighted to witness the presence of 26 parties in Bangalore, working together in unity. Presently, we govern 11 states. It is important to note that the BJP did not secure 303 seats on its own. It relied on the votes of its allies to attain power and later discarded them."

He further added, "The BJP President and their leaders are frantically attempting to reconcile with their former allies across different states. Their fear stems from the unity they witness here, which they believe will lead to their defeat next year."

The opposition expressed concern over the misuse of institutions as weapons against them. The purpose of this meeting is not to pursue power for themselves but to safeguard democracy, secularism, and social justice. Let us collectively resolve to steer India back onto the path of progress, welfare, and true democracy.
