Lucknow: In the year 2014 and 2017 elections of the Lok Sabha UP broke the old chains of caste politics but seems that it is returning back to it. Political parties, which have kept their equations by creating vote banks of castes, have again issued efforts to follow the old pattern. But this time there are 'Brahmins' in the center. First the Congress trapped them in its net, then the Samajwadi Party threw the dice of Parashurama's statue and now the BSP is also trying to woo them.

In UP, there is no sudden coincidence of Brahmin love in the politics of opposition revolving around backward, Dalits and minorities. After 2014, the changed situation has spoiled the equations of gaining power by laying pieces of casteism and communalism. In the last 3 elections (Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha), the solidarity of the Brahmins shown in favor of BJP has increased the restlessness of the opposition. The BJP has increased this concern by laying the foundation for construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya. Not only Brahmin, but the danger of Hindu-Muslim polarization is keeping the opposition alert. In such a situation, efforts have been made to make small holes through caste in polarization.

The Congress has been trying to revive its old Dalit-Muslim-Brahmin nexus with the help of Brahmin vote bank politics for several months, so the BSP has started cherishing dreams by declaring a big statue and research institute of Lord Parshuram. On the other hand, Mayawati, who received the full majority of the offerings in 2007 with the blessings of the Brahmins, also announced the statue and hospital of Lord Parshuram, hinting that this opposition party is going to pull up and increase this vote bank.

In the opposition political parties, uneasiness about Brahmin votes is also being speculated that only in the encounter death of Bahubali like Vikas Dubey, his 'Brahmin' is being promoted. A day ago, Mukhtar's shooter Rakesh Pandey aka Hanuman Pandey's encounter has also continued to make similar efforts. In such a situation, it has been given to strengthen its fortifications for the BJP. BJP state general secretary Vijay Bahadur Pathak says that in both the governments, the Brahmins were not only oppressed, but also no opportunity was left to humiliate them. Labor Welfare Board Chairman Sunil Bharala also accuses the Brahmins of neglect in the SPA-BSP government.
