Order passed to close parks and gardens in Ahmedabad amid rising corona

In the wake of the covid-19 crisis, the period of restrictions is beginning, and in many cities, the administration has begun to take several stringent steps to prevent crowds of people. In this link, all parks and gardens in Ahmedabad have been closed. The Ahmedabad administration has issued an order banning the parks till further orders. The city's Kankaria Lake and zoo are also going to remain closed. The night curfew has been announced in Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, and Rajkot earlier on Tuesday, Gujarat is also among the states in the country where the covid's towns have seen a spurt in the last about a month.

The Gujarat government has decided to impose a night curfew in 4 metro cities of the state from 17th to 31st March in view of the increasing cases of covid-19. The four cities where these night curfews will be imposed include Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, and Rajkot. In some districts of Maharashtra and Punjab, lockdown and night curfew have been imposed to check the spread of the covid-19 virus. In Maharashtra, a lockdown has been announced for a week from Monday in Nagpur.

In Punjab, night curfew has been imposed in a total of 8 districts after the strain of covid-19 in Jalandhar, Nawanagar, and Shahpur.  The order for imposition of night curfew has also been issued at Mohali, Jalandhar, and Ludhiana. The operation of city buses in Surat has been stopped. In addition, it has been decided to ban the movement of government buses after 10 o'clock in Ahmedabad, Vadodara, and Rajkot.
