Bhubaneshwar: A has case has come to light in Odisha. The Odisha Police has registered a case against a woman accused of mercilessly beating a 15-month-old son and mother-in-law in Puri district. The incident of beating the son and mother-in-law has been captured on CCTV cameras and the video became fiercely viral on social media, after which the police have taken this action.
Puri Superintendent of Police Akhileshwar Singh said that he has filed a case against the accused woman Rosalin Nayak. The police have taken this action after CCTV footage of the beating of the son as well as the CCTV footage of the beating of the mother-in-law became viral. He has said that this CCTV footage is from last month, in which the woman is seen beating the child. She has also beaten her mother-in-law. Puri Child Welfare Committee has also taken cognizance of this matter.
In the video posted on social media by Chakradhar Nayak, the husband of the accused woman, his wife Rosaline is seen kicking her son's arms and legs. Nayak, who runs a small shop in Bhubaneswar, has CCTV cameras installed in his house as he has received complaints that his wife continues to hit his old mother in the house.
