Bhubaneswar: Today is the 16th day of the 21-day lockdown implemented in the country. However, given the speed with which Corona cases are increasing, the lockdown will open from April 15, it is very difficult to say. Now the news is coming that the lockdown period in Odisha has been extended till April 30. State CM Naveen Patnaik has taken this decision in the cabinet meeting. Odisha is the first state to extend the lockdown deadline.

CM Patnaik has also requested the Center not to start train and air service till 30 April. Let us know that PM Modi has already clarified that lockdown cannot be opened simultaneously in the whole country. State CM Naveen Patnaik said on Thursday that the time period of the lockdown has been extended till April 30. All schools and colleges will remain closed till 17 June. He said that in the coming days, rapid corona tests of one lakh people will be conducted.

CM Patnaik thanked the people of the state for their full support during the bandh. CM Navin said that food will be provided to the beneficiaries under the Food Security Scheme for 3 months. Odisha CM said that from April 15, 6000 thousand isolated beds will be active in all the districts of Odisha. Also, the state will be able to examine 1000 corona patients daily.
