Bhubaneswar: Amidst the lockdown implemented to curb the speed of Corona infection, the public has started getting many concessions. In this episode, the state government of Odisha has also taken a big decision. After which the wait for wine lovers in the state is over now. Home access service of liquor will start in the state from today.

According to the latest information, the Odisha government has allowed home delivery of liquor by the existing liquor liquor shops of IMFL and beer in other areas except the Containment Zone and shopping malls from May 24. For this, the state government has also made changes in the relevant provisions under the Odisha Excise Rules, 2017. A decision has been taken in this regard by the Excise Department of Odisha. However, Excise Commissioner Anjan Kumar Manik has also clarified that no counter sale of liquor has been allowed in the state.

However, for this, wine lovers will have to pay a little more price. Currently, alcohol products and alcoholic beverages will be sold at a higher price than the prices before the Corona epidemic. This will happen because the state government has changed the related rules and implemented a 'special Kovid fee'.
