For the first time in history, the Academy Awards will be available for live streaming. On March 2, 2025, the 97th Academy Awards will be broadcast simultaneously on American Broadcasting Company (ABC) and streamed live on Hulu, giving viewers more access to the star-studded event than ever before. The Oscars ceremony, which has aired on ABC for over 50 years, will kick off its red carpet coverage at 3:30 pm PT, followed by the main event at 4:00 pm PT. Hulu subscribers will be able to enjoy the ceremony starting at 7:00 pm ET, and it will also be available for on-demand streaming the following day.
