Screenwriter Kurt Luidke, who received the Academy Award for Best Screenplay for Out of Africa on Sunday, died. He was 80 years old. The Detroit Free Press said in its statement that Kurt, who worked in a news paper in the 1960s and '70s, died after a long illness at a hospital in Michigan.

Kurt, who was originally from Michigan, was the first reporter, and later became known as the screenwriter for Absence of Malice and Random Hearts. His fans are paying tribute to him on social media. After graduating from Brown University, Kurt earned a law degree from the University of Michigan and took a course at Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism.

Along with this, due to journalism, he reported several stories, including coverage of the Detroit riots in 1968. After making a good career in journalism, he turned to films. Kurt Luidke struggled immensely throughout his life, and achieved many achievements. He was a wonderful person. Who will live forever in our memories.
