Osmania University Exam 2020: According to the latest update, the on-going Osmania University Exams 2020 which was scheduled for today i.e. 8th December 2020, has been postponed by the varsity.

The decision to postpone the OU Exams 2020 is because of the Bharat Bandh called by various organizations over on-going protests on Farm Bills 2020. The University has issued a formal notification to confirm the news about today’s exams being postponed stating that the on-going exams at all the colleges under Osmania University stand postponed due to the current situation. Also, the varsity has also mentioned that the new dates for Osmania University Exams 2020 will be notified by the Controller of Examinations soon.

Exams on Other Dates As Per Schedule

Osmania University to clear any confusion on the schedule of the exam has notified that only those exams that were scheduled for 8th December have been canceled and the rest of the exams will are going to be held tomorrow i.e. 9th December 2020 will be as per the regular schedule released earlier. The notification mentions that “no changes have been made in the remaining schedule.”

Bharat Bandh 2020

Recently, the Modi Government passed three Farm Bills 2020, which are aiming at leading in reforms into the Agriculture sector into the country. Though, the Farm Bills have come under intense examination from Farmers Organizations, who are protesting against it for nearly two weeks now in Delhi. In line with this, to intensify their protests around 40 farmer unions have called a Bharat Bandh today i.e. on 8th December 2020.
