In this situation, due to travel restrictions, about 100 Indian passengers are stranded at Changi Airport in Singapore and are unable to return home. The Indian High Commission in Singapore told on Thursday that it is working towards arranging to bring 97 stranded Indians to India by plane. He told that most of these Indian travelers have come from Philippine and Malaysia.

On this matter, the Indian High Commission said that Singapore has imposed travel restrictions on passengers coming from or through the ASEAN region, due to which passengers cannot enter Singapore. India's High Commissioner in Singapore Javed Ashraf said, "We are working closely with the Ministry of External Affairs and the Civil Aviation Ministry to arrange to take these Indians back to their homes."

Apart from this, Ashraf said, 'We are also working closely with Air India, Singapore Airlines and Changi Airport to bring these stranded passengers back to India and provide them help'. High Commission officials are providing food and other assistance to 97 passengers at Changi Airport. Most of these travelers have come from Malaysia. Malaysia has closed its borders and barred foreigners from entering. He has also asked his citizens not to travel, India has also banned the arrival of passengers from some countries including Malaysia and Philippine.
