Union Sports Minister Kiran Rijiju said on Monday that inclusion of Kabaddi in the Olympics is the ultimate goal of this country. He said that the talent of Kabaddi is not only in India and Asia but also in the whole world. Rijiju was addressing an online coach knowledge session organized by Sports Authority of India (Sai) on 20 sports topics. More than 700 Kabaddi coaches from other countries including India, Korea and Malaysia participated in this session.

Rijiju said, Kabaddi has already been included in the Asian Games and not only India but all Asian countries should come together and make sure that this sport is also included in the Olympics. This is our ultimate goal. He said, to achieve this goal we have to improve the level of this game in India. It has to be ensured that we promote it in geographical locations in India and the rest of the world.
