New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi has said that we want to create a health system in India that is different from big cities. PM Modi said that with the spirit of 'One India, One Health', essential health facilities will be started in villages at the block, district level. He said the private sector will play an important role in the maintenance and up-gradation of health facilities.
PM Modi had arrived at the inauguration of a webinar on budget announcements in the health sector, during which he said these things. The webinar was organized by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. During this, PM Modi said that this year's budget expands our efforts to reform and transform the healthcare system for the last seven years. We have to take all the initiatives related to the health sector to more and more people. He further said that the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission will make it much easier to get and give treatment in the country.
Not only this, it will also ease the global reach of India's quality and affordable healthcare system, pm Modi said, adding that our focus is on health as well as wellness. He said the budget focuses on three factors, which include modern infrastructure and human resource expansion, encouraging research and adopting modern technology.
