We give them shelter on humanitarian grounds. During this COVID, we vaccinated all Rohingya communities. But how long will they stay here? They are living in the camp. Which can be dangerous for our internal security.'

With this, he said that 'some people have been found involved in drug and women trafficking or violent conflicts. Day by day it is increasing. So the sooner they return home, the better it will be for our country and Myanmar. So we are in discussions with them and with the international community, like ASEAN or UNO, then with other countries.' The Prime Minister of Bangladesh said that 'her country had offered shelter to the Rohingyas when they were facing many difficulties.'

With this, Hasina said that but now she should go back to her country. Apart from this, he said, 'I feel that as a neighbouring country, India can play a big role in this.' Prime Minister Hasina is set to begin her four-day visit to India from Monday. Let us tell you that Hasina was also asked about her country's cooperation with India on river water sharing, especially with regard to the Teesta river. Hasina said there are challenges, but they are not something that cannot be resolved among themselves.
