Police officer said, “Four persons, including two children, were killed when a pipe-laden truck overturned and fell on them on NH-28 in Samastipur district”

The mishap took place near the Cold Storage Chowk under Tajpur police station area when the truck driver hurriedly applied brakes upon seeing a tractor in front of his vehicle.

Nawal Kishore Singh, the SP said ,“The truck overturned and fell on the four persons who were walking on the road”

All four died on the spot. Efforts were on to determine the character of the victims. As the truck driver run away from the spot
