On Saturday, the Oxford Caps which is a well-known market disruptor in the Student Housing Segment allegedly made a declaration regarding its entry into the Indian market and its intention to provide state-of-the-art Student Housing facilities in Delhi NCR.

 

The Oxford Caps has its headquarters in Singapore. In Asia, the Oxford Caps has been offering premium student housing facilities to the top universities of Asia counting along the National University of Singapore, Singapore Management University, and INSEAD Business School.
As per the reports, each year around 36mn students move to different cities to pursue higher education in India.

The issue is that Students have limited options for the same and are no option left then to locate a fragmented and unorganized student housing marketplace. OxfordCaps intends to aid the students with providing them affordable and reliable options in the country.

The Oxford Caps was founded in the year 2017 by INSEAD-graduate Annu Talreja previously with E&Y India and IIM-alumni Priyanka Gera previously with KPMG India. 
Annu Talreja, the founder and CEO of the Oxford Caps, affirmed that the major properties that they functioned upon were prominently based on the Delhi NCR - Delhi University North Campus and Greater Noida, that were a major hub for students.

Talking about their property, Talreja informed that the OxfordCapsTerraces situated at the Roshnara Gardens has 55 beds. He further explained about the other properties that they have.
