Damoh: The second wave of corona infection has created a hue and cry everywhere. Meanwhile, there is a shortage of oxygen in many parts of the country. Meanwhile, an incident of loot of oxygen cylinder from Damoh in Madhya Pradesh has come to light. Oxygen cylinders were looted by some persons at the district hospital in Dahor last night. The city collector said he was told that the men looted the cylinder as soon as the truck full of oxygen came to the hospital.

 

 

He said the incident took place when there is adequate oxygen in the district hospital. The collector said that cases are being registered against the persons involved in the incident. According to local media reports, the family members of the admit patient looted cylinders in the pre-covid ward of the district hospital in Dahor yesterday. They would have understood if they had looted one cylinder for their patient, but they looted not one but two cylinders. After the loot of cylinders, the case escalated to such an end that the police had to be called to the hospital at night.

Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan said that the situation of corona infection is once again serious but hopefully working together with the entire government and the entire society will once again overcome this wave of epidemics. He also informed that the percentage of corona patients in the country requiring oxygen and intensive care has come down in the last two days. He said that the number of corona patients in ICU has come down from 1.93 percent to 1.75 percent as compared to two days ago, the number of patients on a ventilator has come down from 0.43 percent to 0.40 percent, and the number of patients who need oxygen has come down from 4.29 percent to 4.03 percent.
