New Delhi: The corona epidemic is worsening the situation in the country. The number of new corona cases is increasing per day. In the meantime, there is a major accident left in Maharashtra. A sudden oxygen leak at a hospital in Maharashtra endangered the lives of 14 people, though the intelligence of the staff saved all the patients' lives.

The incident took place at Parbhani district hospital in Aurangabad where the oxygen pipeline was leaking due to falling off a tree branch. Staff noticed the leak on Tuesday night and immediately all the patients were shifted to jumbo oxygen cylinders. Deputy collector Sanjay Kundetkar said that the branch of the tree fell on the pipeline around 11.30 pm causing leakage. However soon the fault came to the notice of the staff and immediately 14 patients were shifted to jumbo oxygen cylinders. The pipeline was also repaired in 2 hours. There was no damage in the incident.

Earlier, 4 patients succumbed to their injuries during shifting after a major fire broke out at a private hospital in Mumbra area of Thane in Maharashtra. According to reports, the fire broke out at 3.40 am. About 20 patients were shifted safely after the fire, but 4 patients with serious conditions died during the fire.
