New Delhi: A lookout circular has been issued against the country's former Finance Minister Chidambaram. P. Chidambaram's immediate arrest has dealt a major blow to the relief. On the other hand, the Enforcement Directorate has asked for a meeting of him. A lookout circular has also been issued against Chidambaram. i.e. now If P. Chidambaram tries to leave the country, he can be caught at the airport itself.

In the Supreme Court, On behalf of Chidambaram, Kapil Sibbal is putting the case before the Supreme Court and has appealed for a stay on his arrest until the case is heard in full. On the other hand, Justice Ramanna has refused to give any verdict and has said that he is referring the matter to Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi.

According to the information, the case will be decided by the Chief Justice for hearing immediately. Chidambaram's lawyer also said that he had not taken up the matter with the Chief Justice because he is still busy in the Ayodhya case.
