Rio Olympic; One more hope left as P.V.Sindhu won the match and booked a quarterfinal berth in the women’s singles with a clear-cut 21-13, 21-15 win over Tai Tzu-ying of Chinese Taipei at the Riocentro Pavilion.

Sindhu will challenge second-seeded Wang Yihan of China in the quarterfinals.

Sindhu said that,“Overall, it was a good game. I was alert for everything. She has a good flick and her drop shots are very good. I was prepared for everything and ready for each point.”

“Even when I hit the mid-court shots out, I quickly concentrated on the next point. If you keep thinking about one miss that may lead to the loss of two or three more points,” added the Indian athlete

As per the Sindhu added,“It will be a tough match against Wang Yihan, as she is the World No. 2. I have to play my best. I have played her many times. She is playing well. A lot depends on the day. Some times you may not get things right, and some times you may play fantastic,”
