Chandigarh: In view of the arrival of paddy in the mandis before the time in the country's state of Punjab, the government has fixed the date for the purchase of paddy. Paddy's purchase will begin on the 27th of September till the 30th of November. 4035 purchasing centers have been built for this. The government has directed that farmers and laborers selling paddy in the mandi should be provided proper facilities in the purchasing centers.

The government was getting ready paddy crop in the mandis of the state. On which the government has issued orders to start the purchasing process to be started on October 27 at full speed. In order to prevent the spread of corona and save the farmers, workers, pulldars, jobbers, people involved in transportation and government staff and officers engaged in procurement work, 4035 places have been identified as purchasing centers in the entire state. Of these, 1,871 are government mandis, while 2,164 are from public place mills.

The MSP of the same A-grade paddy has been kept at Rs 1,888. Necessary instructions related to sanitization have been issued to all the persons involved in the purchase process. To sanitize the hands, the government has also been ordered to make hand sanitizer with soap, water and 70 percent alcohol. Instructions have been issued to ensure the lifting of the crop within 48 hours of purchase. Apart from this, like the Rabi season this time, Punjab Mandi Board will also issue passes to the farmers by the agents, whose color will be variable every day. Also, there can be many changes in these works.
