New Delhi [India], Feb 5: The most controversial movie Padmaavat has ensured that Bollywood begins 2018 with a bang. The film, directed by filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali, is unstoppable at the box office and entered the coveted Rs 200-crore club at the end of its second weekend. According to early estimates, the Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor-starrer raked in around Rs 16.50 crore on Sunday.

The Sanjay Leela Bhansali film had been in the eye of a storm over rumours that it featured a romantic dream sequence between Rani Padmavati and Alauddin Khilji.
