Gurgaon: In view of the Karni Sena agitation and fearing some untoward incident due to ongoing row and protest across the county, some of the schools in Gurgaon has decided to remains shut on Thursday.

The decision has been taken after Wednesday incident when some hooligans targeted one private school just. A school bus was vandalised in Gurgaon while a Haryana Roadways bus was torched on Wednesday.

After an incident, panic spread among the schools and parents through Delhi-NCR and many of the parents decided to take their child with them instead of sending them in a bus.

Parents claimed that they don’t want to compromise the safety of their wards due to the current situation in the city.

However, few institutions attempted to reassure parents of kids safety and decided to will reopen schools on Friday as per the schedule. Earlier, on Wednesday some mob attacked one of the private school bus when the school kids were on their way to home.

A video which went viral clearly shows how goons protesting "Padmaavat" targeted school bus carrying school kids and pelted stones shattering windows and scared kids crouching in a bus.

The 190-crore movie starring Deepika Padukone as Rani Padmini, Shahid Kapoor as the Rajput king Maharawal Ratan Singh and Ranveer Singh as Alauddin Khilji. A movie based on an epic written by Sufi poet Malik Mohammad Jaisi with the same title in 1540. In past few days, protests and many incidents took place across the nation with mob targeted cinema theatres and vandalised property.

They even damaged buses plying on the roads. Thousands of Karni Sena and other outfits upset with the portrayal of Rani Padmaavati or Padmini in the film lodged their protest against director Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
