After the tremendous success of 'Housefull 4', it was expected that John Abraham's 'Pagalpanti' would also do better, but it did not happen. After the opening weekend, the film's collections have dropped significantly. To make a respectable collection of the film, the first week has to be steady in earnings.

'Marjaavaan' box office collection; earned this much on 11th day

According to the Bollywood Hungama website, 'Pagalpanti' has collected 2.5 crores on Monday, with the film's four-day collections taking it to 22 crores. Looking at the star value of the film 'Pagalpanti', its opening weekend collections is considered low. Pagalpanti, released on November 22, had accumulated only 4.75 crores on the first day, which according to the forecasts was quite low. Trade analysts had estimated an opening of 8-10 million. Currently, on Saturday, the collections of the film increased a bit and collected 6.50 crores. This surge continued on Sunday and 'Pagalpanti' has managed to raise Rs 8.25 crore. The stars like John Abraham, Arshad Warsi, Pulkit Samrat, Anil Kapoor, Saurabh Shukla, Ileana D'Cruz and Kriti Kharbanda are in lead roles.

It was being told that 'Pagalpanti will become a challenge for Siddharth Malhotra and Riteish Deshmukh's 'Marjaavaan', but this does not seem to be happening. Marjaavaan's collections have also declined. On the second Monday, the film's collections fell significantly. According to a media reporter, the film has earned about 80 lakh rupees, including 11 days collection has been 43.72 crores. However, the final figures are yet to come. 'Marjaavaan' which was directed by Milap Zaveri released on 15 November. The film had an opening of 7.03 crore, while the collection of 24.42 crores was done in the opening weekend. The film had collected 37.87 crores in the first week. In the second weekend, 'Marjaavaan' get only 5.05 crore.
