In the meantime, another case has come to light in which a Pakistani girl studying in Britain has been killed. Local reports claim that two of the women's relatives wanted to marry her but the woman did not want to marry any of them. Myra Zulfiqar, 26, has been found dead in her Lahore apartment.

Myra studied law in Britain and came to Pakistan from Britain two months ago. Myra studied law at Middlesex University and also got a job at the law firm Duncan Blaket. She was living in Lahore's defense area with a friend on renting an apartment. Myra's uncle Mohammad Nazir has filed an FIR in the case and has apparently accused two boys, Jadoon and Saad Amir Butt, of murdering Myra. Nazir claims that the two boys had been harassing Myra for some time now and threatening her with consequences.

Nazir claimed that Myra was killed by the two men along with the remaining two men. Both Butt and Jadoon wanted to marry Myra but neither of them was willing to back down. The same Myra was not interested in both the boys. It may be recalled that Myra had come to Pakistan two months ago to attend the wedding and then decided to stay in Pak for some time. Nazir also said that he met Myra some time ago and complained that two people were threatening her and harassing her. Myra also received injuries on her body and is said to have died of strangulation and shooting. However, the post mortem report is yet to come.
