In the last 24 hours, at least five people were killed and seven others were injured in two separate car incidents in Pakistan, according to local media. According to reports, an ambulance skidded in the snow and crashed into a river in the Lower Dir area of the country's northern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, killing four people and wounding six more.

Local media claimed that a lorry toppled in Chunian city in Pakistan's eastern Punjab province, killing one person and injuring another.

Road accidents are common in Pakistan, owing to poorly maintained automobiles, deteriorating roads, and a lack of attention to road safety measures.
