Pakistan's 'nefarious' look at 'Kisan Andolan,' ISI strategizing

New Delhi: Pakistan is also keeping an eye on the 'Kisan Andolan' on the borders of Delhi and in Punjab-Haryana. The Pakistani intelligence agency 'Inter-Surveillance Intelligence ISI' now wants to spread chaos in India through the 'Kisan Andolan.' After which Delhi police, as well as the central industrial security force (CISF), have also been alerted. CISF is in charge of security at several important places including Delhi Metro.

ISI plans to incite security forces through farmer protesters. Indian intelligence agencies have pointed out this in a letter to Delhi Police and security forces. Delhi Police has also made proper security arrangements by initiating preparations in this direction. Additional Jawaans are being deployed outside metro stations. 3 metro stations in Delhi will be closed on Saturday (June 26, 2021).

The decision was taken by Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) after police advice. These metro stations will remain closed from 10 am to 2 pm. In the last few have, there have been several reports of sporadic crime at the sites of the Kisan movement. On the other hand, protesters say that their agitation has been going on peacefully for 7 months but the police are harassing them using force.
