Pakistan Air Force aircraft crashes during routine training mission

Islamabad: A Pakistani Air Force fighter jet has crashed near Attock in Pakistan's Punjab province. No injuries or injuries have been reported in the accident so far. A Pakistani Air Force spokesperson said a Fighter Trainer aircraft of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) crashed during a regular training mission near Atka.

He said the fighter jet was carrying two pilots who successfully pulled themselves out. He said no loss of life and property has been reported so far. The official said a board of inquiry has been ordered to investigate the cause of the accident. Earlier, in September last year, a Pakistani Air Force plane crashed in Pindigeb. This plane was also out on a regular training mission.

In the meantime, the pilots had wisely injected themselves from the plane. A committee was constituted to investigate the matter. In 2020 alone, Pakistan lost at least five aircraft in such an accident. In March, a Pakistani Air Force F-16 plane crashed during a parade near Islamabad. One pilot was killed in the accident.
