Pakistan on Thursday aired a new video of death row offender Kulbhushan Jadhav saying an Indian High Commission diplomat howled at his mother and he had seen terror in the eyes of his wife and mother.

The video begins with Jadhav who is thanking the Indian and Pakistani governments for organizing a meeting with his kins. “My mother was very happy to see me. But I have to tell the Indian public and government and Indian media that I am still a commissioned officer of Indian Navy. I saw fear in the eyes of my mother and wife. After the meeting, the Indian diplomat shouted at my mother as if she was alien,” Jadhav uttered in his video.

“I want to tell Indian public, the Indian government and Indian media that I am a commissioned officer in the Indian Navy. Why are you lying about my working for an intelligence agency?”Jadhav raised questions.

Jadhav is in detention since March 2016 from restive Balochistan province near the Iranian border. He was tried in a military court and provided prison term to death for spying and terrorism. His plea against his sentence before Army Chief General Qamar Bajwa is still waiting.

India moved the International Court of Justice, which took stay the execution in May last year.

On December 25, kin of Jhadav met him in Islamabad. Pakistan termed it a humanitarian gesture and not a consular access.
