ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has denounced a drone strike by Yemen's Houthi militia on Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah Airport in the border city of Jazan, which resulted in injuries, according to a statement from the Pakistani Foreign Ministry.

"Such attacks not only violate international law, but also threaten the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's and the region's peace and security. Pakistan demands an immediate halt to these attacks "Tuesday's statement went on to say more.

The statement said, "Pakistan reaffirms its full support and solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the face of any challenges to its security and territorial integrity."

According to reports, the Saudi-led coalition conducting a war in Yemen announced on Monday that 16 people were injured in the Houthi militia's attack. According to a tweet from the Saudi Press Agency, the intercepted drone caused the casualties, including three critical cases among travellers.
