Mumbai attack mastermind Hafiz Saeed sentenced to 10 years imprisonment

Islamabad: Terrorist Hafiz Saeed has been sentenced to 10 years in prison in Lahore jail in connection with Mumbai terror attack mastermind and terror funding. Pakistan's Anti Terrorism Court has announced the punishment of Saeed, the chief of Jamaat-ud-Dawa. Earlier, the court sentenced Yahya Mujahid, a close aide of Saeed and spokesman of Jamaat-ud-Dawa, to 32 years imprisonment in the case of Terror Funding.

Two more leaders of the terrorist organization along with the Mujahid were criminalized. In February last year, the Anti Terrorism Court in Lahore was sentenced to 11 years for providing financial assistance for terrorist activities. Hafiz Saeed is wanted in India in the 2008 terror attack in Mumbai. In this attack, 166 terrorists were killed by 10 terrorists, while hundreds of people were injured. The United Nations and the United States have already declared Saeed a 'global terrorist'.
