Lahor: Former Pakistan veteran bowler Abdul Qadir tomorrow ie died on Friday. This legendary leg-spinner of the Pak cricket team was due to a heart attack in Lahore. There is an atmosphere of mourning in the cricket world due to the death of Qadir. 63-year-old Qadir was born on 15 September 1955 in Lahore, Pakistan. Qadir played a total of 67 Tests and 104 ODIs for Pakistan.

Qadir has 236 wickets in Test and 132 wickets in ODIs. Qadir also played in two ICC World Cups for Pakistan. Qadir was a part of Pakistan's team in the World Cup played in 1983 and 1987. Qadir has recorded 9 wickets in an innings in Test cricket. He bowled out 9 batsmen for 56 against England in 1987.

This record made by Qadir in the Test played in Lahore is still unbreakable in Pakistan cricket. Abdul Qadir's spin was very dangerous. The big batsmen had difficulty in facing it. It is said that Qadir could have thrown two types of googly. He was called a dancing bowler for his bowling action.
