No one is coming in support of Pak on Kashmir issue

Karachi: Pakistan did not get any support even after the issue was raised by the international community, including China, the US, after Section 370 was revoked from Jammu and Kashmir. Senior UN officials did not find it necessary to respond to the Kashmir issue. Pakistan has finally conceded defeat in the wake of India's great success.

Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that it is very difficult to get support if he raises the Kashmir issue before the five permanent members of the United Nations Security Council (P5). Qureshi even said that he did not see support from Muslim countries.

Speaking at a press conference, Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said, "The people of the UN Security Council are not standing with any bouquets. Any of the P5 members can interfere. There should be no misconception in this case.  He further said, "The people of Pakistan and Kashmir should know that no one (in the UNSC) is waiting for you and is not waiting for your invitation."
