New Delhi: ICC recently selected the best ODI, T20 and Test team of its decade, but it did not include a single Pakistani cricketer. Apart from this, there was not a single player from Pakistan in the list of players who have performed well in this decade. Former Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar has accused the ICC of ignoring Pakistani cricketers after this. According to Shoaib Akhtar, the ICC discriminates against Pakistani cricketers.
Akhtar further said, 'It is extremely shameful that the ICC did not include Babar Azam in the best T20 team of the decade, while he is the number-1 batsman of T20. This is not an IPL team, but the World Team of the Decade. The Rawalpindi Express said, 'We do not need your ICC T20 International team of the decade, because you have chosen the IPL team, not the World Cricket team'. Akhtar said, 'ICC is destroying the game for money.'
Akhtar further said that 'Babar Azam is not in any ICC team after the best performance, but four Indian cricketers have been included in this team. The Pakistani cricket team has not won anything.' Akhtar said, 'I think the ICC forgot that Pakistan is also a member of the ICC and he also plays T20 cricket.'
