Now Pakistan moves new maneuver, trying to change status of PoK

Islamabad: Pakistan is trying desperately to tamper with the current situation of its illegally occupied areas on parts of India and Afghanistan. This indicates major changes in the status quo and increasing regional tensions in the region. Pakistan has changed the name of the administration of its illegal occupied Kashmir (POK) from 'Azad Kashmir' to 'Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Services' (JKAS).

In an order issued by the Government of Azad Kashmir on 11 December, the name of 'Azad Jammu and Kashmir Management Group' has been changed to 'Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Services' with immediate effect. The order was issued after POK's alleged PM Farooq Haider Khan's statement that he said he could possibly be the last Prime Minister of POK.
