Adelaide: The Pakistani cricket team's tour of Australia has ended with a humiliating defeat. Hosts Australia beat them in the second Test by an innings and 48 runs. Pakistan also lost the first Test of the series by an innings and five runs. In this way, an innings of Australia in the Test series was overshadowed by Pakistan. Australia won the two-match series 2–0 with this victory. Pakistan team will now play Test series from Sri Lanka after returning home. A Test series is to be played in Pakistan after 10 years.

Pakistan's team could not even reach David Warner's score in both innings of the second Test match against Australia. David Warner had an unbeaten 335 in the match. However, Pakistan's team was reduced to 302 runs in the first innings and 239 runs in the second innings. David Warner was voted Man of the Match and Man of the Series. He also scored 154 runs in the first Test match.

The second Test match between Australia and Pakistan was played in Adelaide. It was a day-night test match. Australia batted first in the match. He scored a strong score of 589/3 (declared) with the help of David Warner's triple century and Marnus Labuschagne (162). Pakistan's team was dismissed for 302 and 239 respectively in response. Yasir Shah (113) scored a century in the first innings for Pakistan. He was the top scorer for his team in the match.
