According to a report by The Express Tribune, Qureshi tweeted through his Twitter account that he met the UN Secretary General in New York and urged him to draw the attention of the global community to the victims in India's Jammu and Kashmir.

Qureshi wrote in a tweet that, "I also met with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres in New York, where I outlined the global community's focus on the suffering of Kashmiris in Indian occupation and for this the United Nations resolutions and the desire of the Kashmiri people To find a solution consistent with that. "

The Express Tribune report states that Qureshi also raised the issue in a meeting with members of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) on human rights violations in Jammu and Kashmir following the decision of the Narendra Modi-led government and On this, international cognizance was requested to be taken.
