New York: India has given a befitting reply after Imran Khan keep his stand at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). India's first secretary in the United Nations, Vidisha Maitra addressed the Pakistani PM with his full name Imran Khan 'Niazi', while favouring India. Actually, Imran does not usually use his surname.

A big reason behind this is that in the 1971 war, the then Lieutenant General of East Pakistan (present Bangladesh) AAK Niazi, with his army, surrendered to the Indian Army. Since then many famous Pakistani celebrities started avoiding this surname. Niazi is a Tribe. Its roots are believed to be from eastern Afghanistan. The Niazi Tribe settled in Mianwali in Pakistan's northwest Punjab.

It is noteworthy that India's first secretary in the UN, Vidisha Maitra, has given a strong reply to the provocative speech of Pakistani PM Imran Khan using the 'Right to Reply' provision. She said that Pakistan justified terrorism in the United Nations. Pakistan misused the world's largest platform. India attacked Imran, saying that the person who had ever played Gentlemen game cricket, his speech at the United Nations was full of hate.
