Islamabad: There is an all-round global pressure on Pakistan to curb terrorism, but the Pakistani army is not willing to give up its actions. At present also, The Pakistani Army is continuously trying to infiltrate from across the LoC in Jammu and Kashmir. This act of the Pakistani Army is just the opposite of Pak PM Imran Khan's recent attitude, which he is telling the world. Imran Khan is saying that his government is constantly trying to eradicate terrorism. Things have become such that this policy of supporting and distanced jihadist organisations has led to a conflict between the army and the government in Pakistan. The army is reportedly very angry with Imran's recent statements and it is difficult to say anything in view of Pakistan's history.

About two years ago, in October of 2017, Pakistani army spokesman Major General Asif Ghafoor had expressed the intention of the Pakistani army to work on a plan to bring the forces into the mainstream. According to EFSAS, a European think-tank, the main goal of the Pakistani army is to link terrorists and terrorist organizations with mainstream states in Pakistan. Ghafoor himself has described the strategy as a "positive role for terrorists". How the Pak Army can protect terrorists is the greatest example of this, which has been hidden in Pakistan for 10 years and Pakistan has always denied that.

Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba, an organisation meant to spread terror in India, have been openly protected by the Pakistani army. It is well-known how the Pakistani Army and the ISI acted to save Jaish chief Maulana Masood Azhar, who was eye-popping in the wake of the Pulwama attack. Simply put, the Pakistani Army and the terrorist organisations in Pakistan are two sides of the same coin and now it is well known. There is another history of the Pakistani Army that any government which does not run at its will is toppled, so now Imran Khan's countdown is being done.
