Islamabad: Last week saw a unique case in Pakistan. In fact, a group of police officers were outraged at the refusal to give free burgers and arrested all 19 employees of fast food restaurants. Johnny & Jugnu's staff were detained for seven hours in Lahore on Saturday night.

A statement issued by burger chains said, "This is not the first such incident in the kitchen of our restaurant, but we want to be sure that it is the last." They said in a statement on Facebook that a team of police officers had gone to the restaurant two days before the incident and demanded a free burger. The issue started when the restaurant refused to accept the appeal personally. When the appeal for a free burger was rejected, the police officers threatened our managers and left, only so that they could come back the next day to harass and pressure our team. With baseless arguments."

Nine police officers involved in the incident were suspended yesterday after severe criticism on social media. On Twitter, senior police officer Inam Ghani claimed, "The law will not allow anyone to take over. Injustice will not be tolerated. Action will be taken against all the accused." Let's say Pak PM Imran Khan has earlier demanded improvement in the Punjab area police force. He has said that local leaders have appointed their 'colleagues' to run the police station.
