Millions of rupees were collected for terror funding, three members of Jamaat-ud-Dawa arrested

ISLAMABAD: Three members of Jamaat-i-Dawa, the mastermind of Pakistan's attack mastermind Hafiz Saeed, have been taken into custody in Pakistan. These are accused of funding terror in the Punjab province of Pakistan. On Thursday night late night, the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) of the Pakistan Police took away three of these members during a raid in Faisalabad, 150 km from Lahore.

The statement issued by CTD said that "lakhs of rupees have been recovered from all three, which they had mobilized for terrorist funding. The report has been submitted against them in Terrorist Court of Faisalabad. Last week, Pakistan had taken 10 members of the terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed from Punjab under the same charges. Police have said that there is a flurry of tension in the country to stop terror funding.

Under the National Action Plan 2015, the Pakistani government has launched a campaign to overthrow the terrorist outfits that have flourished on its soil. The terrorist organizations which have been banned by the United Nations Security Council, the Imran Khan government has announced to seize their property and accounts of them.
