Pakistan's former captain and current Prime Minister Imran Khan praises Indian cricket team and said that they are becoming a 'top team in the world. He also said that he is confident of the Pakistan cricket team becoming world-beaters.
Speaking to media in Islamabad, Khan said, "Look at India today, they are becoming a top team in the world because they improved their structure although we have more talent,” he said, as per PTI. “It takes time for a structure to work and polish talent but I am confident our team will become world beaters."
The 1992 World Cup-winning captain, Imran led the Men in Green to 75 wins in 139 ODIs. In 48 Tests, Pakistan won 14 Tests under him.
Meanwhile, Ravichandran Ashwin scored a ton as India was bowled out for 286 in the second innings on day three of the ongoing second Test against England here at the MA Chidambaram Stadium on Monday. Ishant Sharma scored seven runs and he fell when India's score read 237 but Ashwin formed a crucial 49-run stand with Mohammed Siraj and the duo took the hosts' score to 286 and the lead was extended to 481 runs. Now, England has been set a target of 482.
