Pakistan’s richest candidate announced worth more than 403 Billion

National Assembly elections and different provincial elections in Pakistan are leading headlines there but it makes world shock when an independent candidate announced his assets. According to the media report, the National Assembly and Punjab province elections candidature have around Rs 403 billion of assets. He emerged as the richest candidate in Pakistan after this announcement.

Mohammad Hussain Shaikh, while answering about his worth stated that he recently won a case that was in court from more than 88 years which was ruled by supreme court chief justices named Justice Faisal Arab and Justice Umar Atta Bandial.

He was contesting from Muzaffargarh’s NA-182 and PP-270 and assets papers claimed that he owned approximately 40% of Muzaffargarh along with Lang Malana, Taliri, Chak Taliri and Latkaran areas. His nomination papers also unveiled that the disputed land has the worth around Rs 300 and 400 billion along with other land pieces that cost around tens of millions of rupees.

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader Maryam Nawaz Sharif and Pakistan Peoples Party leaders Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Asif Ali Zardari were the other Pakistan leaders who revealed their worth in millions of rupees.
