The Kartarpur corridor will continue to function. On the other hand, a team of Punjab cabinet ministers and MLAs will visit Pakistan on the Kartarpur corridor. The delegation will also meet Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan. The Central Government has given its approval to go to Pakistan.
Three ministers and some MLAs from the Punjab government will join the delegation. The team is expected to go to Pakistan between August 22 and 27. Punjab Cabinet Minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa also confirmed that the scrapping of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir will not affect the Kartarpur corridor. The team will include cabinet ministers Charanjit Singh Channi and Sukhvinder Singh Randhwa. Cabinet Minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa said that India and Pakistan have been affected as the situation today but it will not affect the Kartarpur Sahib Corridor. We will talk to the Government of India that the Kartarpur Sahib Corridor should not be affected by any kind of politics or circumstances.
According to the information received, the delegation will hold talks with the Chief Minister of Pakistan, Punjab and Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan. Even though Pakistan has declared to break all dialogue and relations with India, the corridor is going on for Pakistan as before. We hope that Pakistan will do the time of November 8 to complete the work and open the way. He said, the Dera Baba Nanak Kartarpur Committee will meet at 10 am in Dera Baba Nanak on Friday. It will review the entire situation and the ongoing work on the Kartarpur corridor, Pakistan said on Thursday, adding that work on the Kartarpur corridor will continue. Pakistan's Foreign Ministry said work for the Kartarpur corridor will not be stopped. Work on this will continue and it will be continued even further. Pakistan's statement has ended fears over the Kartapur corridor.
