New Delhi: The statement given by film actor Naseeruddin Shah regarding Haridwar Dharma Sansad is making headlines in Pakistan. Many big personalities including Pakistan's media have reacted to Naseeruddin Shah's statement. In fact, in a recent interview, Naseeruddin Shah had spoken in detail about the inflammatory speech against Muslims in Haridwar Dharma Sansad.

Naseeruddin had said that 'If they know what they are talking about, then I am surprised. They are calling for a civil war. We 200 million people are not going to perish so easily. We will fight. This fight will not be to protect the religion but to save our family and homes.' The film actor had further said that India is our motherland and I am sure that if any such campaign starts, there will be strong resistance and people's anger will erupt.

Taking this statement of Naseeruddin, Pakistan's official broadcaster Radio has surrounded the Modi government of India. Radio Pakistan, while tweeting from its official Twitter account, has described the Indian government as a fascist government and wrote that 'The well-known Indian actor Naseeruddin Shah has asked the fascist Modi government to stop the genocide of Muslims and warned that minorities The persecution of will lead the country towards civil war.' At the same time, Asif Shah, associated with PAK PM Imran Khan's party PTI, tweeted on Naseeruddin's statement that 'We will fight': Naseeruddin Shah warned of civil war in India on the appeal of Muslim genocide.
