Srinagar: Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir Police DGP Dilbagh Singh on Friday said Pakistan is sending drugs from across the border in large quantities with the intention of terror funding and terrorising our youth in the state. Singh said this during special training of Jammu and Kashmir police officers with NCB. He hit out at Pak, informing about the 52 kg heroin seized from the Jhajjar Kotli area on Thursday, as well as other drugs caught in Poonch, Baramulla and other border areas.

DGP also called for reining in interstate drug supplies and rackets. Speaking at the event here, Singh thanked NCB Chief SN Pradhan for providing faculty for special training of police officers of Jammu and Kashmir. He told that the goal of this training program is to improve the skill and ability of our police to investigate NDPS cases. Along with this, he told why and how this training program is so important.

Pak's efforts to finance terror and cover-up innocent youth into terror is not new. After the removal of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir, infiltration has not been that easy for Pakistan. Security forces have also been given complete freedom regarding terror. When infiltration from the border becomes difficult for Pakistan, it keeps on carrying out its nefarious deeds in new ways.
